Re-education of America’s elite business class is essential. America must shift from the pursuit of self-interest narrowly conceived, toward pursuit of self-interest rightly understood, enhancing of the common good. Too often, the MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree has been used as a rite of passage toward the launch of sophisticated pseudo-capitalist schemes. Now, it must become a launchpad for the comprehensive ethical re-education of our nation’s business executives.
